purpose-built mosque in the UK, providing dedicated prayer facilities and Islamic services.
Al-Azhar Mosque aims to create a safe and welcoming environment for all worshippers. We offer support and guidance when needed and hold events and activities

WEEKLY PROGRAMS FOR TAFSEER UL QURAN
Al Azhar mosque offers weekly Tafseer programs, Tafsir is the Arabic word for exegesis, usually of the Quran. In Quranic Tafseer, we attempt to provide explanation, interpretation, context or commentary for clear understanding and conviction of God’s will.

We provide a yearly Quran competition for children starting from the age of 5 to 18 years old with gifts and prizes for the children.

Nikah Ceremonies & Weddings
We offer nikah and wedding services at Al-Azhar Mosque, which can be organised via appointment with the Imam.
Shahadas & Acceptance
he shahada is the first pillar of Islam and is a recognition of accepting and declaring that there is one God, and the Prophet Muhammad (Peace and Blessings Upon Him).
Guided Toors
Al-Azhar Mosque always welcomes visitors and offers guided tours for school visits and those interested in learning more about Islam.
Al-Azhar School
We accept students from any background, with any ability. Students will initially have a short and informal assessment to help determine the class best suited for them.
